Statement on Israel and Hamas

I understand that some of you may or may not agree with what I have to say but I cannot stay quiet. I believe there is a clear distinction between good and evil .  The brutal terrorist attack on October 7 by Hamas on civilians living in Israel was pure evil.  While the Palestinian people may have legitimate grievances, nothing that has occurred in Gaza justifies what we have witnessed.  It was a horrific massacre of innocent people.  

Israel is preparing for a long battle with the stated goal of eliminating Hamas as a threat to Israel and perhaps the rest of the world. It is something they believe must be done for the survival of Israel and unfortunately there will be great loss on both sides.  Hamas' crimes against Israel are crimes against humanity.  They reflect a genocidal ideology which will be perpetrated if nothing is done.

This is a time to recognize that Israel needs and deserves support. In my opinion, Israel has a right to defend herself and all civilized nations should recognize that right.  I support Israel!
